P Lybaert avec Computational Thermal Radiation in Participating Media : Proceedings of the Eurotherm Seminar 73, April 15-17, 2003, Mons, Belgium
Thermal radiation is a significant heat transfer mechanism in many applications. It determines the heat fluxes in high temperature systems such as industrial processing furnaces in the glass, cement, ceramic and steel industries, boilers, combustion engines in aeronautics and space applications, but is also involved in low temperature applications such as insulation materials for buildings. This volume contains the proceedings of the Eurotherm Seminar Nr 73, held in Mons, Belgium, in April 2003. 41 contributions were selected after refereeing, and are presented under 6 headings : RTE solution methods, new developments, Gas radiation models, Disperse systems, Combustion, Flames, Conduction, Radiation, Industrial applications, Furnaces.
